Cost includes installation, all labor, parts, tank or tanks, air compressor and a paid two year basic service agreement.
Exceptions: If excavation hits solid rock, there will be a $750 charge extra per each day spent digging through rock.
Homeowner is responsible to identify any and all underground utilities and easements in digging area.
Surprise underground utilities should be billed at around $50 per hour.
If wanted by homeowner, removal of dirt mound and old septic tanks is extra. Usually a rough spread of the dirt is free.
Homeowner must provide 30amp dedicated electrical circuit to outside in weather-proof box.
Note: Prices are much higher in some areas in South Texas. This is because of the type of soil (solid rock) and the walls of the tanks themselves are required to be thicker. Average price for an aerobic septic system around Austin, Texas is around $9,000. The cost of digging through rock is sometimes included in this price.
